We love our little Eden. This was taken the end of November in Utah. Eden is in the photo too but in her mommy still. A few days after this photo we had our 20 week ultrasound of our healthy baby girl.

Graveside Service for Baby Eden

So many have put forth their love and prayers and service towards Eden and her family. Many have followed the blog and kept in contact with us through Eden's short life here. Because of this we have decided to open the graveside service up to anyone who wants to come show their love and support for Eden and the Swenson family.

  1. We are so very sorry! We found out last night after I had a chance to check your blog but didn't get a chance to leave a comment. We wanted to let you know that you are still in our thoughts & prayers! We too are wishing you peace & understanding at this difficult time. We know too that through the Gospel of Jesus Christ you can feel that healing peace and that you will be with Eden again-how sweet is that knowledge! We pray for your entire family (especially w/ Hillary & Sam at this time!!!) Oh we just wish you ALL the very best. We would love to be there w/ you on Tuesday but will have see (silly work :] ) Thank you for this blog and sharing so much. The photos just break our hearts & make us cry but they are so sweet too & we've learned a lot! Thank you, hope you can rest and feel of everyone's love!

    Love Always, Chelsea & John

  4. Rachel,
I am Mariah's mom. We heard about your sweet Eden's premature birth and her recent passing. Mariah sent me the link to your blog and I cried through the entire blog. The pictures are so precious and I'm sure you cherish the knowledge that you will hold her and have her again. We lost a baby at 20 weeks, and I still have an ache in my heart. Our prayers are with your family.

  6. Jeremy and Rachel,
You two were absolutely amazing at today's beautiful service for Eden! As cold as it was, we all felt the sun shining through your faith and testimony of God's great plan for each of us. The program, the music, the tiny flowers on Eden's little casket, the white balloons and the amazing cellist all left each friend and family member touched by your insight and strength. No one ever plans to endure this type of life experience, but you've both risen far above it, and will forever stand as an example of strength to me and everyone that knows you. Thank you. And may God continue to comfort and bless you as life has to go on each day forward. You can do it! And if you can do it, then certainly all of us with our little struggles can do it too.
    Sure love you both--Michelle Burk
